I graduated from the University of Colorado, and then spent several years working in real estate in Colorado. During this time, I competed in the professional whitewater kayaking circuit and made my first trip to Costa Rica with my sponsor and teammates in 1999. It was love at first sight and I have been living 'where the grass is greener' ever since. When I discovered the pristine South Pacific region of Costa Rica, I found my destiny and the place my dreams would manifest into reality. During the past 7+ years of living and working in the Dominical area, I have acquired an in depth knowledge of properties as well as solidified integral relationships within the local community.

My college studies include art and photography at the University of Texas
with degrees in commercial photography and fine art. My work history
includes owning a construction company for 20 years where I built and
remodeled homes in Austin Texas. I had also worked for 15 years as
a licensed real estate agent in Texas working with buyers and helping
them find their dream home.
I started travelling to Costa Rica in 1999 to visit family members that
had moved here the year before. I fell in love with the southern zone
and after travelling here many more times, I made Costa Rica and the
Dominical area my permanent home.
Some of my hobbies include travelling, photography, hiking, swimming,
snorkeling, boating, rafting and fishing.

I was born in Atlanta, and graduated from University of Ga. In preparation for a job offer in Belize, I came to Costa Rica to improve my Spanish. Within days, I knew that I would not be leaving and that I had found my home. Prior to Costa Rica, I had visited 53 countries, but had never experienced the feeling of "Pura Vida" or pure life that I feel here. That was1996. Since then, I have been working in Real Estate and Tourism, specializing in the area of the "Costa Ballena" or Whale Coast. My parrot Buffy, a wildlife rescue who is unable to survive in the jungle, accompanies me most of the time. My conviction is that every client who considers relocating to the Costa Ballena should be fully orientated with the lifestyles, benefits and advantages as well as the challenges before making an informed decision. Traveled through many countries in Latin America growing up but spent most of my life in Florida. After studying Computer Engineering in Orlando, I returned to South Florida and worked for several companies for years in the IT field as a web developer, network administrator, programmer, and in marketing. I have been visiting Costa Rica for over 8 years but moved down here permanently 3 years ago.
